Boss Mustapha, former secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), has handed over to his successor, George Akume.
President Bola Tinubu, on June 2, announced the appointment of Akume as the SGF, and Femi Gbajabiamila, the outgoing speaker of the house of representatives, as his chief of staff.
On Wednesday, Akume took the oath of office at the council chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja in the presence of Tinubu.
Vice-President Kashim Shettima; Senate President Ahmed Lawan; AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, governor of Kwara state; and Folashade Yemi-Esan, head of the civil service of the federation, were present at the brief ceremony.

Shortly after, Mustapha handed over to Akume, the immediate past minister of special duties.
Abubakar Bagudu and Badaru Abubakar, former governors of Kebbi and Jigawa state witnessed the handing over.
