President Muhammadu Buhari played host to Tunde Bakare, senior pastor of the Latter Rain Christian Assembly, at the presidential villa in Abuja on Monday.
Bakare, a close ally of Buhari, was the president’s running mate in 2011 when ex-President Goodluck Jonathan emerged victorious.
When Buhari defeated Jonathan in 2015, Bakare was not his running mate but both men have remained close.
