President Muhammadu Buhari is in Imo on a one-day working visit.
The president touched down at Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri, the capital city, on Tuesday. He was received by Hope Uzodinma, governor of Imo, and some government officials.
His visit is coming amid a sit-at-home order in the south-east issued by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Buhari will inaugurate the dualised Owerri – Orlu road, Owerri-Okigwe road and the reconstructed Imo House of Assembly Complex.
