President Muhammadu Buhari who cancelled a private visit to Daura, his hometown in Katsina state, is currently in Maiduguri, Borno state, for the chief of army staff annual conference.
The jet conveying the president landed at the air force wing of the Maiduguri international airport at 11:15 am amid tight security.
The president was received by Kashim Shettima, governor of the state, heads of military formations and other top government officials.
