PHOTOS: Buhari observes last Jumat in Aso Rock, takes Tinubu on tour of state house

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, observed his last Jumat prayer at the State House.

Buhari was accompanied by Bola Tinubu, president-elect.

After the Jumat service, Buhari took Tinubu on a tour of the various working areas of the State House as his tenure comes to an end on May 29.

Speaking with journalists after the tour, Tinubu said he prayed for good health to face the challenges.

“Help me God, to carry the burden, to face the challenges, and keep me in good health, to be able to fulfil the dreams and aspirations of millions of our people,” he said.

On Thursday, Buhari conferred national honours on Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, the vice-president-elect.

Subsequently, Vice-president Yemi Osinbajo, took Shettima, his successor, on a familiarisation tour of the presidential villa.
