President Muhammadu Buhari participated in an extraordinary ECOWAS summit in Abuja on Thursday.
The extraordinary session, which held through video conference, was on the impact of COVID-19 on the region.
During the meeting, ECOWAS leaders appointed Buhari as champion of the COVID-19 response.
