PHOTOS: Buhari receives APC governors on ‘sallah homage’ at Kaduna residence

Former President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday hosted a delegation of All Progressives Congress (APC) governors at his residence in Kaduna.

The delegation, led by Hope Uzodimma, chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF) and governor of Imo, said the visit was to extend sallah greetings to the former president and congratulate him on the successful completion of the Ramadan fasting.

Uzodimma told journalists that the visit was a gesture of solidarity and appreciation for Buhari’s leadership and legacy.

“This visit is symbolic and deeply rooted in respect, loyalty, and continued appreciation for the statesmanship, leadership, and legacy of President Muhammadu Buhari,” the governor of Imo said.

“As a party, we remain united and committed to the ideals of good governance which he championed during his tenure.”

Among the governors in attendance were Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe, Uba Sani of Kaduna, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa, Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi, Nasir Idris of Kebbi, and Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo.

Also present were: Monday Okpebholo of Edo, Usman Ododo of Kogi, Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti, and Hyacinth Alia of Benue State.
