PHOTOS: Cars destroyed during fire outbreak at NNPC petrol station in Lagos

A retail filling station belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) was gutted by fire on Monday afternoon.

According to a witness, the fire began when a tanker was discharging diesel at the station located on College Road, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos.

Fire fighters from Alausa station were able to put out the fire after 2 hours, however, a car dealer shop sharing fence with the station wasn’t speared as exotic cars got burnt.

  1. My thoughts are with all that lost property, especially the car dealer, May God be with them and help them even in this trying times for them. Its just so unfortunate. I just hope they can get relief from the insurance company, if they were insured.
