The Super Eagles of Nigeria have held their first training session ahead of their 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Rwanda.

The team held the training session at one of the practice pitches in Kigali, Rwanda, on Tuesday.

The session was Eric Chelle’s first since he was named the Super Eagles head coach in January.

Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, and Victor Boniface were among the stars who participated in the drills and rondos that Chelle and his assistants marshalled.

The Super Eagles will take on Rwanda in Kigali on Friday before playing Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo on March 25.

Nigeria remain winless after four games in the World Cup qualifier. The Eagles have lost one and drawn three and are fifth in Group C of the qualifier.
