Akinwumi Adesina was, on Thursday, re-elected for a second term in office as president of the African Development Bank (AfDB).
The election was part of activities at the annual meetings of the bank which held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Adesina, a former minister of agriculture in Nigeria, ran unopposed.
