The Department of State Services (DSS), on Thursday, said it recovered illegal arms, cash and charms from the home of Sunday Adeyemo, a youth leader better known as Sunday Igboho.
Peter Afunanya, DSS spokesman, at a media briefing, said the security agency recovered the illegal arms — including seven AK-47 rifles — and “thousands of ammunition” during a raid on Igboho’s residence.
TheCable had reported how gunmen raided the house located in Soka area of Ibadan, Oyo state.
A close ally of Igboho had also claimed that two people were killed during the raid.
