Nasir el-Rufai, former governor of Kaduna; and Sanusi Lamido, ex-governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN); on Friday paid a condolence visit to families affected by the military air strike in the state.
On December 2, many residents of Tudun Biri in Igabi LGA of Kaduna were killed in air strikes said to be targeted at terrorists.
According to multiple reports, the death toll from the incident was over 120 while scores were left badly injured.
The Nigerian Army has accepted responsibility for the incident, stating that its troops were on a routine mission against terrorists when the “mistake” occurred.

The former Kaduna governor also visited survivors of the incident currently receiving treatment at Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital.
