Adegboyega Oyetola, governor of Osun, who condoled with the residents over the effects of the flood, said the government is working to prevent future occurrence of such incidents, adding that efforts have been put in place to ensure safety against natural disasters.
Oyetola, who went on an inspection tour to the affected areas on Wednesday, urged residents to change their attitude by not dumping refuse into drainages or mounting structures on waterways.
