PHOTOS: Flood renders residents of Suleja homeless

One day after flood left many trapped in their homes in parts of Lagos, residents of Suleja in Niger state are experiencing the effect of downpour.

The flood damaged some residential buildings and also destroyed pipes carrying water to the community.

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted extended rains this year, but the effect is what many cannot cope with.
