Four governors in the south-west region, on Tuesday, paid a visit to Rotimi Akeredolu, their Ondo counterpart in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
The governors were Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos; Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti; Dapo Abiodun of Ogun and Seyi Makinde of Oyo.
Akeredolu has been working from Ibadan since he returned to Nigeria after a three-month medical leave in Germany.
Taking to his official X handle, Akeredolu said it was a delight to host his colleagues.

“It was a delight to receive my brother Governors from the Southwest today, as we discussed National and other issues of interest to the region and the people,” he said.
Richard Olatunde, chief press secretary to Akeredolu, had on Friday addressed concerns over his principal working from Oyo instead of Ondo.
Speaking on a radio programme on Friday, Olatunde said since Akeredolu’s return, the state has been functioning and not in crisis as being speculated.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo has repeatedly criticised the governor for working from Ibadan, demanding his resignation if he cannot return to the state.
