A petrol tanker caught fire on Otedola bridge axis of Berger, Lagos state, in the early hours of Saturday.
Olufemi Oke-Osanyitolu, director-general of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), said the incident involving a truck and a trailer occurred around 2am.
He said the explosion occurred when a truck loaded with fabrics and moving inward Lagos had a brake failure.
