Gambo Jimeta, a former inspector-general of police (IGP), who died on Thursday has been buried.
Jimeta was laid to rest on Friday at Gudu cemetery in Abuja.
Mohammed Adamu, inspector-general of police, and members of the force management team were present at the Janazah prayer and burial.
Jimeta served as national security adviser (NSA) to Ibrahim Babangida, former head of state, and was also the representative of Adamawa state to the national conference held in 2014.
