Abdullahi Ganduje, governor of Kano, has paid a condolence visit to Rabiu Kwankwaso, his predecessor, over the death of his brother.
Inuwa, brother to Kwankwaso, died on Monday.
Ganduje visited Kwankwaso on Tuesday at his Bompai residence on Miller road in Kano state.
The development comes weeks after the former governor said he wasn’t impressed with the achievements of his successor.

Kwankwaso and Ganduje were political allies but they fell out after the latter assumed office, leading the former governor to defect from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the build-up to the 2019 general election.
While at his residence, Kwankwaso invited the governor to the grave of Musa Kwankwaso, his father, and special prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
The older Kwankwaso died in December 2020.

The duo, thereafter, held a discussion that lasted for some minutes before Ganduje left.
