Usman Alkali Baba, inspector-general of police, on Monday paid a courtesy visit to Solomon Arase, chairperson of the Police Service Commission (PSC).
The meeting was held at the PSC office in the Federal Secretariat Complex, Central Business District, Abuja.
The IGP congratulated the new PSC chair and assured him of the cooperation of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to achieve an “enviable” policing system.
Olumuyiwa Adejobi, force spokesperson, said the meeting was at the instance of the IGP and was geared at “cementing the relationship” between the NPF and the PSC.

The PSC chair was quoted as saying all necessary support will be deployed to ensure the NPF is repositioned for better service delivery.
