Mohammed Adamu, the inspector-general of police (IGP), was seen not wearing a face mask while decorating some newly-promoted officers in Abuja.
The use of face masks is one of the COVID-19 guidelines of which violation attracts a six-month jail term — based on the new health regulations signed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a tweet on its verified handle, the force shared photos of Adamu decorating officers without wearing a face mask.
