Dilapidated structures, old furniture, and a compound dotted with weeds are the sights to behold at Government Science College, Kagara, Niger state.
The school became the focus of media reports on Wednesday, following the abduction of 27 students.
Abubakar Bello, governor of Niger, also confirmed that three staff and 12 family members at the school were also kidnapped.
While the federal government has deployed a security delegation to the state, Sani Bello, governor of Niger, has assured residents that efforts are ongoing to ensure the swift return of the victims.
