A federal government delegation visited Kuje Custodial Center in Abuja on Thursday shortly before the release of some inmates.

President Muhammadu Buhari had ordered the release of 2600 inmates across the country on Thursday.

Lai Mohammed, minister of information; Rauf Aregbesola, minister of interior; and Abubakar Malami, attorney-general of the federation, later visited Kuje center where the release of inmates kicked off.
