Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) turned out in large numbers in Sokoto on Tuesday as the party held its presidential campaign rally in the state.
Atiku Abubakar, the party’s presidential candidate; Ifeanyi Okowa, his running mate; Iyorchia Ayu, national chairperson of the party; and Aminu Tambuwal, Sokoto governor, were present at the rally.
The presidential candidate and other party stakeholders also visited the Sultan of Sokoto.
