Abdullahi Sule, governor of Nasarawa, paid a condolence visit to the family of Philip Shekwo, chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, on Sunday.
Shekwo was abducted from his residence in Lafia, the state capital, on Saturday night and he was found dead one day later.

Among those who accompanied the governor during the condolence visit are: Ibrahim Abdulahi, speaker of the house of assembly; and Tanko Almakura, former governor of the state.
