YD Ahmed, the director-general of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has decorated two of his military aides with new ranks.
Speaking on Saturday while decorating the officers at the National Directorate Headquarters in Maitama, Abuja, the NYSC DG commended them for their diligence, loyalty, perseverance and sincerity.
Ahmed urged the newly promoted aides to be more industrious and not betray the trust bestowed on them by the military authorities.
The decorated officers were part of the successful candidates in the recent Nigerian army senior non-commissioned officers promotion board.

The officers are Dada Bunmi, former warrant officer and personal assistant to the NYSC DG, and Nazifi Hamisu, a former corporal.
They were decorated with the new ranks of master warrant officer and sergeant, respectively.
