Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party, (LP), on Saturday, flagged off the party’s campaign with a mega rally in Lafia, the Nasarawa capital.
The rally was initially scheduled for October 25, but was postponed after criticism over the party’s presidential campaign council list.
Obi had also recently visited some victims of flooding in parts of the country, and urged other presidential camdidates to suspend campaigns and support persons affected by flooding.
Also present with Obi at the LP rally on Saturday were Datti Baba-Ahmed, his running mate; Aisha Yesufu, an activist; Julius Abure, LP national chairman, and other party chieftains.
