Supporters of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), on Saturday, organised rallies across the country.

The rallies held amid activities to mark Nigeria’s 62nd independence anniversary.

Nigeria gained independence on October 1, 1960.

As early as 7:30am, supporters of Obi gathered at the extension of Archbishop Vining church in Ikeja GRA, Lagos, in preparation for a “four million-person march”.
