Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, on Sunday, in the company of Christian leaders, attended a thanksgiving service to celebrate Nigeria’s 61st Independence Day anniversary.
Nigeria gained independence on October 1, 1960.
The thanksgiving service, which held at the National Christian Centre, Abuja, had in attendance Enoch Adeboye, general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Also present at the event were Dolapo Osinbajo, wife of the vice-president; Folu Adeboye, wife of the RCCG general overseer; Samson Ayokunle, president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), among others.
