Babatunde Kokumo, Osun state commissioner of police, paid a courtesy visit to Kayode Afolabi, the Alapomu of Apomu.
Alapomu commended Kokumo for the improvement in security in the state.
He said kidnapping and banditry have reduced since Kokumo took over as the state’s commissioner of police.
Alapomu advised Kokumo not to relent on the good job he is doing.

In his response, Kokumo thanked the state government for giving him the needed support, and he promised to do more to guarantee the safety of lives and property.
He thanked the Alapomu and his chiefs for giving him a rousing welcome.
Before visiting the Alapomu , Kokumo went on a familiarisation tour of police formations in Isokan local government area of which headquarters is Apomu.
