PHOTOS: Panic buying as queues return to fuel stations in Lagos, Abuja

There is panic buying of petroleum motor spirit (PMS) at major filling stations in Lagos and Abuja, resulting in long queues.

TheCable witnessed long queues at some stations on Tuesday morning while others closed for business.

According to sources, the current petrol scarcity experienced in some parts of Lagos was efforts by regulatory authorities to recall ‘contaminated products’ in circulation.

A fuel attendant in Abuja told TheCable that the panic buying was due to the rumours circulating over the scarcity of petrol in the country.
