Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in 2023, visited Afe Babalola, a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN), in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital, on Monday.
Obi met the legal icon at his office on the campus of Afe Babalola University.
He also visited the prison facility where Dele Farotimi, a human rights activist, is being held.
On Monday, Babs Kuewumi, the judge of the federal high court in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, granted Farotimi N50 million bail with one surety.

The activist, who has been in detention since last Tuesday, is accused of spreading false information against Babalola.
