A large number of protesters on Tuesday took over some streets in Akure, Ondo state, to protest the death of Nigerian musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
The protesters, who chanted justice for Mohbad as they marched across the city, were all in black outfits in honour of the late singer.
Some carried placards with inscriptions such as “Say No to Marlian Music”, “Justice for Mohbad”, and “We want a coroner’s inquest into Mohbad death”, among others.
Below are pictures from the protest.
