PHOTOS: Rescue operation at site of building collapse in Abuja

Several persons were rescued following a building collapse that occurred in the federal capital territory (FCT) on Thursday.

A combined team of the federal capital territory emergency management agency (FEMA), National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and the Abuja metropolitan management council (AMMC) were present at the site.

The building, a shopping mall under construction, collapsed on Thursday morning.
