President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday received Amina Ali, the Chibok girl who escaped from Boko Haram on Wednesday, at the presidential villa in Abuja.
Ali was one of the 219 students kidnapped at Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno state, in April 2014 – and is the first to escape from captivity since the hunt began.
She was received at Aso Rock with her four-month-old daughter.
