The Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) on Thursday met in Abuja over security concerns, relief aid for the removal of subsidy on premium motor spirit (PMS), and the recently signed electricity act.
In a statement posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), Bologi Ibrahim, chief press secretary to Mohammed Bago, governor of Niger state, said Nuhu Ribadu, national security adviser (NSA), was present at the meeting chaired by AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, governor of Kwara.
“Governor Mohammed Bago of Niger state was among his counterparts across the country in a meeting of the NGF in Abuja,” Ibrahim said.
“The meeting which was held behind closed doors was chaired by the NGF chairman who doubles as Kwara state Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

“The national security adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, was also at the meeting which centered on the nation’s security, fuel subsidy palliatives interventions, a review of the National Executive Council agenda, and a brief on the new electricity act.”
