PHOTOS: Sanusi joins Buhari at opening ceremony of UN general assembly

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, participated in the formal opening ceremony of the 77th United Nations general assembly (UNGA) holding in New York.

The president was joined by Ibrahim Gambari, chief of staff; Geoffrey Onyeama, minister of foreign affairs; Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, permanent representative of Nigeria to UN; Zainab Ahmed, minister of finance, and Sadiya Umar Farouq, minister of humanitarian affairs.

Also present was Muhammadu Sanusi, former emir of Kano.
