PHOTOS: Sanwo-Olu swears in newly elected LG chairpersons

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos governor, has sworn in the newly elected chairpersons of the 20 LGAs and 37 LCDAs in the state.

The swearing in ceremony took place at the Lagos House in Alausa, Ikeja, on Tuesday.

Sanwo-Olu said the chairpersons should work in unity with other tiers of government to bring to bear the dividends of democracy in the lives of people.

The election, which took place on Saturday, was marred by low voter turn-out, card readers hitches, and partial announcement of results at some collation centres.
