Bukola Saraki, the former senate president, led the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) reconciliation and strategy committee to Oyo state on Tuesday.
Saraki, who is the chairman of the reconciliation and strategy committee, met with Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo state.
Liyel Imoke, former governor of Cross River; Ibrahim Dankwambo, former governor of Gombe; and Anyim Pius Anyim, former senate president, were also present at the meeting.

The meeting comes on the same day seven national working committee (NWC) members of the PDP resigned in protest against what they called “poor leadership”.
They promised to remain loyal to the PDP but said they will not be able to work with the current national working committee (NWC), an insider told TheCable.
