The Spartans defeated the Warriors 58-53 to win their second consecutive Showtime Bowl flag football title.
Spartans clinched the title after another impressive performance in the final of the Showtime Bowl Series XI on Sunday.
Flag football is a sport synonymous with American football. However, it is a non-contact game where players wear flags on their belts and tackle each other by pulling off their flags.
Spartans earn the cash prize of N6 million as the champions, while Warriors go home with the runners-up prize of N4 million.

The Rebels and Outlaws rounded out the top four, taking home N2,500,000 each.
Adebare Adejumo, Showtime Bowl’s league commissioner, said the concluded season demonstrated the huge potential of flag football in Nigeria.
“Season XI wasn’t just about the competition—it’s about everything that comes with it: teamwork, growth, and the rise of flag football in Africa. This year was special, but trust me, the best part is still ahead of us,” he said.
