PHOTOS: Super Eagles wrap up training for vital clash against Ivory Coast

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have held their final training session before the second group game at the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in the Ivory Coast.

The team is scheduled to play the host country in both teams’ second game of the competition on Thursday.

Victor Osimhen, who had sat out of the training on Tuesday, was back on the grass alongside newcomers Terem Moffi and Kelechi Iheanacho as the whole team put finishing touches to their plan for the upcoming game.

Earlier, Jose Peseiro, Super Eagles head coach, confirmed that Alhassan Yusuf will be unavailable for the game against the Ivorians.

The Super Eagles will be hoping for a better performance against the hosts after a disappointing 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea in their opening game.

Ivory Coast defeated Guinea-Bissau 2-0 in the competition’s first match.

Nigeria will face the Elephants on Thursday by 6 pm.
