PHOTOS: Tafa Balogun, former IGP, laid to rest in Osun

Tafa Balogun, former inspector-general of police (IGP), has been laid to rest.

The funeral ceremony was conducted in Ila-Orangun, the hometown of the former police boss, in Osun state.

Balogun died on Thursday night at the Reddington Hospital in Lekki, Lagos state.

He served as IGP between 2002 and 2005 under the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, after which he was tried for corruption.
