PHOTOS: Tight security as INEC distributes Edo electoral materials

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) commenced the distribution of sensitive electoral material for the Edo governorship election, on Thursday.

There was heavy security presence at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in Benin, the state capital, during the distribution.

The exercise was supervised by Timidi Wariowei, head of voter education and publicity (INEC), Edo, alongside party representatives.

The Edo governorship election is scheduled for September 19.
