President Bola Tinubu observed the Eid-el-Kabir prayer in Lagos on Sunday alongside other Islamic faithful.
Femi Gbajabiamila, chief of staff (CoS) to the president; Babatunde Fashola, former minister of works; Nuhu Ribadu, national security adviser (NSA); and Obafemi Hamzat, deputy governor of Lagos, were also at the Eid prayer.
Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar joined the Islamic faithful in Yola, the capital of Adamawa, to observe the prayer.
Abba Yusuf, Kano governor, and Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the Emir, prayed at the Kofar Mata Jumu’at mosque, while Uba Sani, Kaduna governor, marked the celebration in Kaduna.
