PHOTOS: Tinubu flags off commercial operations of Abuja light rail

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday flagged off commercial operations of the Abuja light rail.

Speaking at the event, Tinubu said rides on the light rail by residents would be free till the end of 2024.

Former President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated the rail line on July 12, 2018.

However, it packed up shortly after, due to vandalism.

Vice-President Kashim Shettima and Senate President Godswill Akpabio were some of the dignitaries at the flag-off.
