President Bola Tinubu has inaugurated some projects executed by the administration of Peter Mbah, governor of Enugu state.
Tinubu, who was in Enugu on Saturday on his first official state visit, was received at the airport by Mbah in the company of Alex Otti, governor of Abia, Dave Umahi, minister of works, Benjamin Kalu, deputy speaker of the house of representatives, and other top government officials.
Some of the projects the president inaugurated included 30 smart green schools, 60 completed Type 2 primary health centres, and the 19-kilometre Airport-New Haven–Bisalla and Okpara Square roads built by Mbah’s administration.
Tinubu also inaugurated the state’s new International Conference Centre and the state-of-the-art command and control centre, as well as 150 patrol vehicles fitted with AI-embedded surveillance cameras.

“Enugu is achieving great heights. Building our tomorrow, today. A leader like Governor Peter Mbah placing Enugu on the path of 21st-century development.
“You’re a good thinker, Mbah. You’re my friend. We can go places together, building Nigeria, building the future. Use technology to build. Promote investment. We must encourage the private sector to come into politics.
“It is a great honour for me, and I, therefore, declare this project inaugurated.”
