PHOTOS: Traders stranded, shops destroyed after Wuse market fire

Many traders whose shops were gutted by a fire at the Wuse market in Abuja, the nation’s capital, were seen on Wednesday sorting out what is left of their wares after the incident.

Many shops and vehicles were affected by the fire outbreak on Tuesday. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.

There are, however, claims that the fire was caused by some aggrieved youths protesting the alleged death of one of them during a clash between officials of the FCT task force and some traders in the market.
