Activities have gradually resumed at the Mobolaji Johnson train station in Lagos, following the suspension of the strike by the Nigeria Union of Railway Workers.
The union had commenced a three-day warning strike on Thursday over “poor welfare” of workers.
However, following discussions with the federal government, the railway workers suspended the strike on Friday evening.
When TheCable visited the Mobaji Johnson station in Ebutte Meta around 8:30am on Saturday, some railway workers were on ground to resume work.

There was also a change in schedule for the train departure time.
A railway worker, who didn’t want to be named, said sale of tickets will commence around 11:30am, and the train will leave for Ibadan around 1pm.
