PHOTOS: Trapped in flood — how residents of Lagos community are struggling to survive

For residents of Owode Elede along Ikorodu road in Lagos state, the recent flooding is the worst.

While neighbouring communities have recovered from the effect of the constant rainfall, they are still struggling to survive.

Cars have been submerged, houses filled with stagnant water while business places have been shut.

TheCable visited Owode Elede earlier in the week and these pictures tell it all:
