A group of women gathered at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on Friday as part of the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protest.

The protesters, under the aegis of “Women Against Hunger,” carried different placards bearing inscriptions such as “A bag of rice is more expensive more than minimum wage,” “Farmers cannot go to farm,” “Our leaders cannot feed fat while we starve,” among others.

Abiola Akinyode, spokesperson of the women, called on President Bola Tinubu to provide concrete and measurable solutions to the rising cost of living in the country.

The protesters dispersed after promising to converge on Saturday for the 10th day of the protest.
