In the aftermath of the significant legal victory in the P&ID case, Hamzat Lawal, CEO of Connected Development, has expressed his commendation for President Bola Tinubu’s leadership and unwavering commitment to defending Nigeria’s financial interests.

Lawal said the victory at the Business and Property Court in London, where a $11.5 billion (USD) award and accumulated interest previously granted to Process & Industrial Development (P&ID) Limited was dismissed, ”represents a monumental achievement in Nigeria’s legal history.”

”President Tinubu’s unwavering dedication to safeguarding Nigeria’s resources and economic stability has been a defining factor in the successful outcome of this complex legal battle. ‘The judgment delivered by Judge Robin Knowles underscores the administration’s commitment to justice and fairness,” he said in a statement.

Lawal, a notable anti-corruption crusader, emphasised that the victory is for Nigeria, the African continent, and the developing world.
